Note:  The Second Annual Midwest Mandolin Festival is confirmed for June 3 and June 4, (2 days this year!) at Summit Lake State Park near New Castle, Indiana, the same location as in 2005.

Come join us for two days of acoustic music in a variety of styles, featuring the mandolin!  It will take place from 11:00am until 8:00pm on Saturday June 3, and from 11:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday, June 4.  Many of the performers from last year will be performing again, along with several new ones, allowing us to expand it to two days!  Frequently asked questions:

What does it cost?
Like the first one, there is no admission - the festival is free with paid admission to the park!  

Should I come if it is raining?
Enjoy seating on the grass, or in the performance shelter, so come rain or shine!  

Is there food available at the park?
There is a snack bar, but service is limited - plan to bring your own food and drinks for the day.

On Friday, May 19, the Fields of Bluegrass Radio Hour, at 9:00 pm Eastern time, on WICR 88.7 FM, broadcast from the University of Indianapolis, featured a program dedicated to Mandolin music, underwritten by the Mandolin Society of Central Indiana, promoting the Second Annual Midwest Mandolin Festival, and included music by some of the performers.
